When will Peeking Cat contact you?


If you submit a piece of work to any of Peeking Cat’s publications, we will email you to let you know whether your work has been accepted, and to answer any questions you may have or request further information from you that we may require in order to publish your work. We will also email you to let you know when the publication your work appears in has been published, with links to the download and print copies if you would like to see or purchase the magazine.


We will send you the Peeking Cat email newsletter if you sign up to it here. Your name and email address are automatically put into Mailchimp so that we know who to send the newsletter to. To comply with new GDPR data protection legislation, by May 2018 we will only be sending the newsletter to people who have opted into our new mailing list.


If you subscribe to Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine, we will contact you to thank you for subscribing, and to let you know when your magazine is on your way to you every month.

How to opt out of communication

If you would no longer like to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any of our newsletters. Alternatively, email and we will manually remove your email address from our records.

What data do we keep on you?


When you submit your work to any of our publications, we keep the information you send to us in our email program. This includes your name, email address, creative work, third-person bio and any other information you choose to send to us. We might share your information between different Peeking Cat publications. For example, if you submit work to Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine but we believe it is a better fit for the anthology or The Creative Truth, we will share this information between magazines.


When you sign up to our newsletter we keep your name and email address in our email marketing program (MailChimp).


When you subscribe to Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine, we keep your name, email address and mailing address on file so that we can send you the magazine every month. Subscriptions are paid for through PayPal and Peeking Cat does not view or keep any payment information except for your PayPal email address.
